Characters & Stats¶

What a character is made of, where those numbers come from, and what reads them. The framework names none of them.

• Character stats from equipment and buffs — A worn ring and a running buff raise the same number, and nothing anywhere applies or removes a bonus — contributions are pulled at the read, not pushed at the change
Attributes, Inventory, Status Effects · Composite
• Inventory capacity from a stat — a bag that grows with the character — A slot count that follows a stat and shrinks without eating anything — driven by a value that raises no event when it changes
  Attributes, Inventory, Save · Subtle
• Stat stacking rules — additive, multiplicative, best-of — Three incompatible stacking rules over one unchanged container — the evidence for the combiner the framework refuses to ship
  Attributes · Composite
• Wiring stats into damage multipliers — The four stat seams Health and Status Effects already publish disagree about what "no change" means, and two of them quietly discard your answer

Filed elsewhere, but they answer this too¶

These live under another heading — the sidebar puts each recipe in one place so you can find it again — and they are here because they genuinely answer this question as well.

• Faction reputation from attributes — standing, and what standing means — Faction reputation is one attribute id per faction and a table of names you wrote — the game writes no save code, and the range you configured in the inspector does not apply to a faction created in code
